The Children's Literature Web Guide is an excellent source of information on children's authors, illustrators, and their books. Kay Vandergrift's Learning About the Author and Illustrator Pages is another excellent resource on the Internet.
She lists many of the most popular authors from A-Z, with links to the some of the author's own web sites.
The de Grummond Children's Literature Collection features a list of selective authors and illustrators who have a presence on the Internet.
The Author Corner is a great site listing information about many different authors including all of the Margeret A. Edwards Award winners. Fairrosa Cyber Library includes links to reviews, dragons, Lewis Carroll, and other topics & authors. The Internet School Library Media Center has an extensive list to Internet sites of Children's and Young Adults' Authors & Illustrators. If you are a book collector and enjoy meeting the authors of the books that you collect, check out Authors on the Highway.
